By following her dreams, Dr Beth Jens is one step closer to exploring the depths of the universe. It’s an adventure she’s been chasing since the age of 12. Now, employed at Caltech’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, she is working on new ways of fuelling small space vehicles. Jens recalls what inspired her interest in space exploration and how she has reached for the stars in the latest edition of 3010, Melbourne University Magazine.
